 Do not overheat in the microwave or heat without water. Wash with care. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or steel wool. The size and shape of the product varies with each item due to the manufacturing process, as does the appearance of the imperfections of the colored glaze. Some products may take on a texture on the surface that resembles burns. This is a unique glaze effect called "Yo-hen", an unintentional color change that shows up on the ceramic and porcelain after firing.
