This leveler was manufactured in such a way that it always compresses the ground coffee in the portafilter to the desired depth.
Adjusting the depth is very easy after loosening the head part you can insert slices of different thicknesses.
Included in delivery: 1 x 1mm 2 x 2mm, i.e. depth adjustable from 0mm to 5mm.
